With the introduction of the Citrus Resources range of products in 1991, Wedina Holdings Pty Ltd was the first Australian company to offer a comprehensive range of citrus based, environmentally responsible products specifically for the commercial cleaning industry. Since then the range has grown and the packaging adapted for the domestic market. All products in the Citrus Resources general cleaning category have recently received Good Environmental Choice Australia Accreditation.
The packaging used for the products is highly recyclable PET and HDPE and recycled material is used to manufacture cartons. Wedina Holdings also has a waste recycling programme in place and asks consumers to recycle and dispose of waste appropriately.
To reduce the freight component, products are highly concentrated. Dilution rates for effective use are recommended and with most products having many uses, depending on dilution, this reduces inventory.
